EntreAdu Educational Framework
A framework on social entrepreneurship grounded on Entrecomp
Project Results under Work Package 2: A framework on social entrepreneurship grounded on Entrecomp
The first activity, known as WP2-A1 Primary Research, included both desk and field research tasks, including the organization of focus groups. The target group consisted of adult educators working with people with a migrant background and adults with a migrant background (survey).
The objectives of the research were twofold:
1. To identify the critical components of teaching social entrepreneurship as a skill to adults from immigrant backgrounds and to identify the methodology teachers will use.
2. To identify the challenges faced by adults from immigrant backgrounds and to identify the entrepreneurial competencies they need.
The results will be presented in this needs assessment report and will serve as a basis for designing a framework for social entrepreneurship. This framework will be based on the Entrepreneurship Competence Framework, EntreComp (EC, 2016), a reference tool for assessing the entrepreneurial capacity of European citizens.
Based on the results of the primary research conducted in partners’ countries and the needs analysis report, a coherent framework structure is currently being developed by the project consortium. This framework will lay the groundwork for the development of the next outputs under the project: A self-assessment and recommendation tool grounded on EntreComp, and An open online course grounded on EntreComp.
